12-12-1983 to 2-22-2007

For those of you who only knew my husband through his art, you missed an amazing man. For those of you who knew him best, you know he is timeless and irreplaceable. He’d probably be pissed that I’m screwing with his page, but... oh well. I love him with all of my heart, my soul, and my life, and I know I am not alone.

Charles Wilkerson (Thomas-Mariner) passed away yesterday morning, Feb. 22, 2007.

He was leaving a job site headed north on the interstate when a drunk driver entered an exit ramp heading south on the northbound side. He was hit head on and I was told he felt nothing. He was dead within minutes of being loaded into the ambulance. The drunk driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

He left us far too early in this lifetime. He was happy, and those whom he loved will always know that he had no regrets. I must regretfully inform you that there will be no more literary or artistic works of his for us. I would like to keep this page up as long as I can so that people may leave messages or thought or just memories to share. He will never vacate my heart, nor the hearts which he has captured with his art and his love.
